What we stand for
For accessories, sports shooters nowadays have to lay down sometimes substantial amounts of money. Not least for young sports shooters and clubs that want to effectively carry out youth work, our beautiful sport is becoming increasingly unattractive. But it can be more affordable - thought the four founders of Teck-Tech, all of whom are active sports shooters themselves. Following the motto "keep it small and simple," they established a small company that produces and sells high-quality accessories for sports shooters at moderate prices to support our sport. However, besides affordable standard accessories, Teck-Tech also has a genuine innovation to offer. The Diopterbox for protecting the diopter and front sight tunnel is an absolute novelty and not available in this form from any other manufacturer or retailer. More innovations will follow, so stay tuned...
How it came about
Initial situation
The four founders of Teck-Tech UG - Martin Zangl, Stefan Ortlieb, Matthias Braun, and Julian Hitzer - have known each other for years through their voluntary work within the Schützenkreis Gau Teck. However, it took some time for the idea of establishing a joint company to emerge.
A team comes together
The first milestone was a conversation between Martin Zangl and Matthias Braun in March 2019 when Martin Zangl talked about his own ideas for accessories. Initially, this conversation was neither deepened nor was there any further exchange. It wasn’t until about three months later that another piece was added. Stefan Ortlieb had recently started producing a handrest for air rifles. Matthias Braun then approached Stefan Ortlieb, and after they agreed in principle on collaboration, he also involved Martin Zangl. The team was completed by Julian Hitzer, who optimally complemented Teck-Tech's competency area and also distinguished himself through voluntary work in the club and district.
Planning and founding of Teck-Tech UG
In August 2019, they jointly decided to take the step and establish their own company. After many product ideas were already developed in the first conversation, operational planning and the actual founding continued until the end of January 2020.
Company launch on 25.01.2020
During the Gau Teck District Sports Shooting Day, Teck-Tech presented itself to the public for the first time. At the same time, the website with the webshop went online.
